From representing Canada at the World Hapkido Championship, starring on hit tv shows, to selling real estate in Toronto, Ricky's background is just as impressive as it is varied.
In 2001, Ricky graduated with a mathematics degree from York University. He then decided to pursue his passion for theatre and relocated to the Big Apple where he studied acting at the prestigious Herbert Berghof Studio in New York City. After a year of big city lights, he moved back to Toronto and pursued an acting career. Having experienced some great early successes starring in several films and hit NBC TV shows like Nikita and Covert Affairs, Ricky's interests later expanded and he began his career in real estate by helping investors build multi property portfolios. Seven years later, Ricky has honed his skills as an expert negotiator and has established a solid referral based real estate business built on hard work, integrity and enthusiasm. Many of his clients have become life long friends and he continues to build his reputation on honesty and trust.
As a fitness and health enthusiast, Ricky is also an avid Martial Artist having trained since the early age of nine. He holds a black belt in Hapkido and a brown belt in Judo. He represented Canada and was crowned the super middle weight champion in Los Angeles for the first ever Hapkido tournament held outside Korea. Ricky also enjoys daily meditation and is a great believer in giving back to those less fortunate. A regular volunteer at CNIB, Ricky also donates a portion of all real estate commission earned to various charities including Chalice, Global Giving, and The Tripura Foundation.
